She is so beautiful and such a talented actress, she is one versatile actor who will always blow our minds on every movie she acts in. Stephanie Plum is a lingerie buyer, who ran out of cash and desperate in need of it. So she decided to look for a job, meanwhile since she does not have any money she used to share dinner with her parents who lives down the street. They told her she either needs to get married or get a job. So she decided to pay her cousin Vinnie, who owns a bail bond company a visit. When she got there her cousin’s assistant told her that the job was already taken but she was not one who would give up so she met her cousin anyway. She threatened and blackmailed him by saying that if he does not give her a job, that she would expose him of his sexual behaviour towards a certain rubber ducky, so he had no choice but to give in. He had just signed one of the biggest contracts the company has ever had, of a $10,000 bail bond to go after a vice cop, Joe Morelli, who was wanted for murder and who also happens to be the ex boyfrriend of Stephanie back in high school. Katherine Heigl plays the role of the main character Stephanie Plum, in the new movie One for the Money 2012 which you can watch online for free in high definition. Since I was A little kid I was always fascinated by Hollywood, and movies in general. It is truly a fantasy world, a type of escapism from the problems of everyday life. So when a great movie comes along, I do not hesitate to go and check it out right away. My favorites are of course comedies, I mean who does not love to laugh? Laughter is always the best medicine for you. Well needless to say I can not wait to see a new comedy that is coming out called “One For The Money”, starring the very beautiful Katherine Heigl, who plays a character by the name of Stephanie Plum.

Unfortunately, she is out of work and out of cash, like so many people these days. So she is forced to go to her not so trustworthy cousin, for employment. He runs a place called Vinnie’s Bail Bonds. The story gets crazier then that, of course. Even though she has absolutely no training as a police, or bail bondsman, her cousin gives the biggest contract they have in the company at that time, and get this, the guy she is after is a former vice cop himself, but wait, it gets better, he was her old boyfriend who dumped her back in high school. Talk about your awkward situations!

It goes without saying, this basic story arc is just rife with comedic situations. I guess when you get right down to it, is a romantic comedy in a way, but the originality of the story is so out there that even if you do not like those type of movies you will find something funny, and entertaining to enjoy in this fresh new Hollywood comedy. Of course, as she chases her old flame she begins to examine the actual case against him and realizes that a lot of things just do not add up, so she ends up becoming his savior in the end with a possible romantic happy ending, but of course you will have to go and watch the movie and see for yourself.

The police officer she is after is played by the great Irish actor Jason O’Mara, whose career has really started to take off in the last year. As he is currently playing the lead role of Jim Shannon on the hit Fox television show Terra Nova. So if you are a fan of that show I’m more then confident you will enjoy this movie. The movie is a complete adventure – action – comedy rolled into one. Every time Katherine Heigl gets close to a witness to help her in the case they die on her. While this is going on she is getting on the job experience and lessons in bounty hunting from a Ranger, played by Daniel Sunjata.

It goes without saying this movie is one comedic miss adventure after another. It is very hard to come up with a movie (One For The Money) that would appeal to all audiences, but I feel that Lakeshore Entertainment has done just that in this breakout comedy for 2012. This is one of those movies where I was actually laughing during the trailer, and that rarely happens for me. So if your are looking for a really good time, and love going to the movies then I really urge you to go and check out this hilarious comedy with Katherine Heigl.

If you are interested in romance novels then you are more than aware of the writings of Janet Evanovich. For years she wrote some of the best in the business. However, if romance is not your thing, then do not worry, she also writes mystery-action novels about fifteen years ago. She is most notably known for the series of books with Stephanie Plum, an out of work lingerie buyer who, for lack of any job skills, appeals to her cousin to work as a bounty hunter in a bail bond company. Mrs. Evanovich was born April 22, 1943 in South River New Jersey. She was the first member of her family to actually attend and graduate from college.

As I mentioned earlier, she began her writing career in 1987 with the romance book “Hero At Large” under a pen name. After the success of the book she then began to publish a whole line of romantic novels with her actual name. This went on for about five years. Then in the mid 1990’s she decided to take a different approach to her books. She felt that she had written everything that could be possible in basic romance, so she thought she would put a twist on her books, and spice them up with some mystery, action and most importantly comedy.

She has been quoted saying that comedy is very important, if you can laugh at something then you can face it without fear. Thus started her grand journey for the last eighteen years with the line of books dealing with Stephanie Plum, bounty hunter extradonaire. Of course what make these books so much fun to read is that fact that Plum is a complete goofball with no official training in dealing with criminals. This does not stop her though, when you are desperate for money you will do just about anything. Evanovich could be considered a bit of a work-o-holic, as she works a full eight hours everyday and an additional four every weekend.

Since 1987 she has written no less then 47 books, dealing with all types of characters and situations. Recently Hollywood had taken notice of her Stephanie Plum novels and realized they could cash in with the great stories, so last year Mrs. Evanovich sold the rights to the first book in the series, “One For The Money,” for one million dollars and they began filming with talented Katherine Heigl playing the lead role of the spunky yet inexperienced bounty hunter. The movie is due to come out in January 2012.

Depending on the success of the first movie there could be subsequent sequels filmed based on the other books. As there are 23 books in the series with no end in site. The movie coming out soon is based off the book, which was actually written way back in 1994. Mrs. Evanovich was quoted as saying, “This has been a dream come true, to actually have your book turned into a movie.” “I can think of no better compliment to a writer.

Man, you could practically write a novel on this topic alone. Some of the greatest Hollywood movies came out of novels written by people who had no intention of making a movie from their story. I would say about 90% or so of movies come from scripts written by writers who are proficient in that particular type of writing. You see, script writing is different than writing an actual book. Many things have to be taken into consideration, you may be able to describe a scene beautifully in a novel, but could it actually be built and under budget? These and a thousand other questions cone up when taking a popular novel and turning it into a shoot able movie.

Some great movies have been able to make it to the big screen with out destroying the original writers vision. Movies, like “The Godfather,” “Jaws,” and “The Exorcist,” to just name a few. Then of course there is the other side of that coin. Some books were so huge and grand in their vision, that they should have never been made into movies. Books like “Dune,” “Battlefield Earth” and Stephen Kings “The Stand,” come to my mind. However, Hollywood is all about money, and if they think they can make a buck, they will do it no matter what. Although, there is another type of novel to movie scenario to consider as well. The ones that are written, and then take twenty or so years to get to screen.

For what ever reason many factors come into the delaying of making a movie, such as insufficient funds. Studio executives come and go. One may love the idea and then new hates the idea. Argument between the screen writer and the owner of the book. The list is virtually endless. What is really funny however is that a great series of novels, known as the Stephanie Plum Mystery books written by the incredible talent of Janet Evanovich never were considered to become movies for over fifteen years. Which happens sometimes, somebody will come along and read a book years after it is written, and realize what a great movie it would make.

This happened with the book “One For The Money.” The first in a long series of books dealing with a fish out of water type character Stephanie Plum, played by the beautiful Katherine Heigl, who through desperation and lack of funds goes to work for her cousin’s bail bond company, as a bounty hunter. The novel itself is highly popular and has won several notices and awards on the New York Times best sellers list. It seems that Lakeshore Entertainment felt as I did, and realized that the book was perfect for a movie, incorporating romance, action and comedy.

Just about everything your typical movie going audience could ever want. When a production company gets a movie right, like “Jaws,” it can be just as entertaining and fun as the novel itself. Fortunately, there are a whole line of books dealing with the spunky Stephanie Plum, and her bounty hunting adventures, so I’m really hoping that there will be a lot of sequels to this great story. With such a wide range of stories and characters to write about, in this world Janet Evanovich has created, I have no doubt that there will be more movies to come.

If you are any kind of fan of strong spunky women who do not let anything, or anyone get in the way of what they need to get done, then this is the character for you. Stephanie Plum is actually the main protagonist in a very long series of novels written by accomplished writer Janet Evanovich. The writer was looking to create a character, that was on the surface a very average plain Jane type of women, but when the going gets tough she can be the biggest heroine in the world, which makes her very unique in movies these days where most of the hero roles are played by men with special training. You see the thing about Stephanie is that she has no formal police, or military training to do what she does.

She does it out of desperation, and lack of money. What is really funny is that the main arc of the character and her adventures are lightly based of the writer herself. Stephanie Plum, like the writer comes from the Trenton New Jersey area, and just the like the writer she attended Douglas College. This harkens back to the first thing that they teach you in writing school. When all else fails, write what you know about. Stephen King is a classic example of this, just about 99% of his stories take place in Bangor Main, and guess what? He happens to live there. Stephanie’s character married right after college, then promptly got divorced after catching her husband cheating on her in their new home.

The first book written in the Stephanie Plum series is called “One For The Money,” a brand new movie which has been recently filmed for. Stephanie has also lost her job buying women’s lingerie. Things pretty much go downhill from there, her car gets repossessed, and she is forced to sell appliances and furnishings in order to make her rent payments. Out of complete desperation she turns to her cousin Vinnie, who happened to own a bail bond company, and through blackmail he decides to hire her as a bounty hunter. What makes this a perfect set up for a hilarious comedy is, that she of course has no training or idea of what is involved in this line of work .

Stephanie’s best friend is probably her pet hamster Rex. She occasionally stops by her parents house down the road from her apartment where she is able to grab a free meal from time to time. Unfortunately, she is terrible with money, no matter what she does she is always broke, and thus forced to continue working for her cousin as a bounty hunter. Her life is an interesting crock pot of unscrupulous characters and friends who all seem to serve a certain function in helping her get out one jam and right into another.

Somehow though, you can not help but like her, maybe because she reflects the times of today, and what people are willing to do for money in order to just get by. That is why she is timeless, and is the main character in several dozen books. Stephanie Plum is a heartwarming example that no matter how rotten things get, there is always a way to make it through. So the next time you feel like throwing in the towel, just say. Hey what would Stephanie do?

Being a man myself, I find no greater joy then going to the movies and watching the breath taking women of Hollywood act and bring out emotions I normally would never feel. The incredible Katherine Heigl is one of those actresses. She is slightly younger then me, but she can act with a wisdom I rarely see in television and the movies these days. Katherine Heigl was born on November 24, 1978 in our nations capital Washington, D.C. When she was a child the family moved around a lot finally settling in Connecticut. Unfortunately, she suffered a severe loss when her brother fell out of the back of a truck and was killed. Ever since then she and her entire family have been major portents of organ donation.

She started her career early in life, when some chance photographs taken by her aunt, were then sent into a modeling agency and soon after that she began a professional career in the field. If you have ever seen her you can see why, Katherine Heigl is absolutely beautiful. She quickly began acting in the early 1990’s starring in a movie called “That Night,” a romantic drama film based of the book written by Alice McDermott, at the time she was only 13 years old. At this point she has continued to garner roles in about one or two movies a year. Her beauty continues to be her biggest assets, as she has been named FHM’s 100 sexiest women of the year several times.
